Redhat certified engineer again
The first time I passed the RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification exam was in august 2005. Ever since the release of RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 my certification expired. This year I finally took the time to book the new exams and get them paid by my current employer (EUR 900.-, for 5 hours of exam time, lunch not included, it is insane).
After working through all assignments in the allotted time, I managed to pass both required exams to become a RHCE once again. The RHCE exam is a really hands-on experience that I actually quite enjoy. No silly forms with multiple choice questions but a real life virtual machine that you need to successfully modify during the exam to pass.
