Hello world (again)

The last couple of weeks there seemed to be nothing going on around here, other than the occasional outage of bits and pieces. I've actually been quite busy doing backend stuff.

Webcams

Of you are a regular on my cam page, you propably noticed that the cams were all relocated. I think I broke two of the cams yesterday, will look into that (fixed). And I need to find an s-video < -- > tulip kind of cable thingie to connect the intel cam to the PVR-350 board. The Elro cam is new. I need to update the 'about the webcams' page soon.

The cams have moved to a separate host in my home and four out of five should be OK by the end of the day

Server reorganisation

To make my life miserable easier, I reinstalled my old Brassand server. It is now serving webpages like this, all on LVM2 volumes and separated in Xen domains. It has been more work than I anticipated, but things are starting to look good.

Website reorganisation

To make my live less Googleble, I decided to split things up a bit. So al the technical computer stuff will end up here, while the old address will be solely used for personal news. If you link to this page, please do not use my real name in it. I'm not trying to hide, but I'm trying to make it less obvious.
