Forgejo Forever

About a year ago I started using Forgejo als an alternative to Gitlab for git hosting. It has really worked out wel for me. Feature wise I'm very happy, the product never gives me issues and support seems to be very well organised. With LTS and more progressive release schedules to choose from. And they changed the licensing, making taking the tool on some closed source path really hard/impossible.

This morning I was contemplating what to choose as my default TODO/Notes app. I've been using all sorts of tools in different projects, I was kinda getting lost where I left some of the stuff. So after making a list of projects and the tools I use to manage these projects, I decided that Forgejo will become my goto tool for this kind of information too.

So I will use the buildin issue tracker for TODO items and use regular Markdown formatted texts in the git repo as a note taking app. This should have me covered on different devices and operating systems.
